The Role
Cunard’s Campaign Marketing Team are looking to welcome a Digital Marketing Executive for a 12-month FTC to support with the planning and delivery of our Digital Marketing strategy alongside the Digital and Social Marketing Manager and wider Marketing Campaigns team.
The role supports the planning, implementation and reporting across the Digital Marketing channels to acquire new and repeat guest bookings, and to drive awareness and consideration of the Cunard Brand. Channels include (but not limited to) Paid Search (PPC), Paid Social, Organic Social, Display and Affiliates.
You will
- Use your technical and creative skills within the Digital Marketing disciplines to deliver impactful and engaging communications, thinking about the customer and putting them at the heart of every decision.
- Work with our appointed agency resources to help shape planning, implementation, ongoing optimisation and reporting across Paid Search (PPC), Paid and Organic Social Media, Affiliates (lead generation) and online display
- Liaise with other areas of the business including Finance, Marketing Communications, Partnerships, Brand Planning and CRM to deliver an integrated Omni channel approach.
- Use various analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics to be able to support the “story telling” of how the Digital Marketing funnel works and drive channel optimisation and commercially focused results
- Proactively make recommendations for new tests and campaigns working with our appointed agencies to monitor performance to continually optimise the channel and be able to measure and track the return of investment to the business
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is aCUK10 and is offered on a full time, fixed term contract basis for 12 Months, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.
About You

- A thorough understanding of the digital media landscape.
- Experience of working across or a thorough understanding of digital channels including Display, Paid Search (PPC), Affiliate programmes and Social Media.
- Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions using a pro-active approach to make recommendations as appropriate
- Can look at both the creative and analytical sides of Digital Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and feels confident representing Digital Marketing in wider team meetings
