About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Digital Marketing Executive to join us and support us as we develop our new marketing function and strategy.
Fair Finance has a strong brand and in the last year alone we have helped and supported nearly 130,000 people with advice, signposting or loans. This role will be responsible for helping us grow our share of search, increase our organic reach, and improve our digital channels to deliver an excellent customer experience, contributing to our goal of reaching more financially vulnerable customers across the UK.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in UX, SEO, and a range of digital channels including websites, email and social media. They will also have experience delivering relevant and timely content across various digital channels and campaigns.
This role will report into the COO initially, and you will be working alongside a strong and growing team of specialists in areas such as product, data and digital, who together are taking the business through a digital transformation so that we can reach and support even more customers going forward.

This role would suit candidates with 2-3 years of Digital Marketing experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Support in the implementation of the marketing roadmap and strategy.
- Increase our reach on organic channels, delivering relevant, timely and tailored content and communications on our website, social media, email and any other.
- Implement actions arising from the SEO strategy.
- Help us engage our existing customers on digital channels.
- Work with the product manager to identify and implement UX improvements on owned and earned digital channels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions through continuous feedback loops, identifying opportunities for testing and optimisation.
- Manage affiliate and referral channels such as brokers.
- Monitor and analyse digital channels using a variety of tools.
- Ensure the quality of any creative and media utilised on digital channels.
- Input into regular and ad hoc reporting on performance of all marketing activities.
- Any other duties as required by the Company that are commensurate with the position.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in successfully implementing changes and delivering measurable improvements on websites, social media, apps and other relevant channels.
- Some experience using paid channels including PPC.
- Up to date knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation.
- Experience working with creative and media such as imagery and video.
- Clear, accurate writing skills and experience developing copy for websites, email and social media.
- Experience analysing data on digital channels and utilising data to derive insights.
- Understanding of best practice design and usability principles on digital channels.
- Ability to analyse and understand marketing metrics to assess performance and deliver improvements.
- Experience utilising one or more content management systems.
- Experience using Google Analytics.
- Mindset of continuous improvement, and a desire to help shape and enhance the customer experience.
- Independent, quick learner with attention to detail and ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Good stakeholder management /people interaction skills.
