Title: Digital Marketing Executive

You will work across market-leading retail brands like Max Spielmann, Timpson, Johnsons, and Snappy Snaps as our resident social guru. The ideal person will be a kind, creative, and confident individual with a passion for everything social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Support
*
Lead contact for all digital enquiries and responsible for maintaining comms with the retail team to curate newsworthy content from branch colleagues
*
Manage the social inbox and respond to enquiries
*
Other ad-hoc Digital Marketing tasks to support the Digital Marketing Manager across channels including for email, influencer, PR and affiliates
*
Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with weekly reports to share with senior stakeholders
Organic Social
*
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Trading Manager to ensure that social media comms are aligned with current promotions and marketing campaigns on the Trading Plan & Commercial Calendar
*
Plan, brief, and schedule posts across all brand channels working with the Digital Designer and Copywriter - where required. This includes interactive content with daily Instagram Stories.
*
Maximise engagement and growth on our social platforms working to KPIs
*
Continuous research of social trends using your creativity to identify how you could adapt trending soundbites and viral formats for our category.
*
Liaise with Customer Support to manage our online communities
*
Manage the relationship with the UGC content creator and Content ambassadors ensuring aligns with brand guidelines and is best in class
*
Update Facebook & Instagram Shop with product feeds
*
Monitor and report on the performance of social content using TikTok and Instagram Analytics along with other reporting tools
Paid Social
*
Plan and build paid social campaigns primarily on Meta to drive sales and awareness
*
Create weekly reports on performance with recommendations on the next steps
*
Optimise ad sets for success with creative, budget, and audience testing
*
Boost ad-hoc organic posts to increase reach and awareness to a targeted audience
The successful candidate will ideally be/have:
A full UK driving licence or willingness to travel locally to create in-store content and share our superstar colleague stories
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a passion for all things social with their finger on the pulse of new and upcoming trends and platforms
Can effectively plan, think ahead, and present new ideas to drive social engagement
Have a thorough understanding of current trends on TikTok and Instagram
Desired skills:
Understanding of web tools like GA4 analytics and Magento CMS
Social media management and scheduling tools like Hootsuite or SproutSocial
Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager - TikTok Ads is a bonus
Ability to research, plan, create, and edit multimedia content for social
Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
Video editing tools and apps including Capcut and InShot
