Data Management Consultant (3–month Fixed Term Contract)

Role Overview:
As a Data Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data collection, validation, and visualization processes for our client engagements. This is a 3–month fixed–term contract position, offering the opportunity to work alongside industry–leading consultants and make a tangible impact on our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and implement survey spreadsheets, including skills matrices, to gather relevant data from client teams.
– Establish the target structure within the data lake on Google Cloud Platform and develop data pipelines for seamless data consolidation.
– Collaborate with Moorhouse and client stakeholders to define the process for gathering Excel surveys from managers while ensuring data privacy and security.
– Collate and validate information from completed skill surveys (up to 2500) into the data lake, identifying and addressing any data quality issues.
– Support the tracking of survey completions, including issuing, receiving, and monitoring completion rates.
– Create Excel–based outputs and visualizations for the final target spreadsheet, highlighting team skills, missing data, and other relevant insights. Implement appropriate protection measures to safeguard data integrity.
– Participate in stakeholder discussions for progress reviews of the Data Management initiatives.
Essential Skills:
– Proficiency in survey design and spreadsheet management, with experience in creating skills matrices and other data collection tools.
– Strong understanding of data lake architecture and experience in setting up data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
– Attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
– Experience in creating Excel–based outputs and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
– Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for data protection.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast–paced consulting environment.
