Digital Marketing Manager - Renewable Energy Conferences & Exhibitions
Central London Office - Hybrid working with 3 set days in the office
Base salary to £50,000+Bonus+ Benefits
We’re looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to join our clients team of experienced and innovative B2B Events marketers. You will be responsible for driving attendance at our clients Renewable Energy conferences and exhibitions.
In this marketing position, you will own the creation, delivery and reporting for B2B Renewable Energy event portfolio’s Paid Search and Digital Advertising campaigns. Delivering campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, X (Twitter) and Meta.
What will you be doing as a Digital Marketing Manager?
- Developing targeted, personalised PPC campaigns to reach each attendee profile.
- Delivering campaigns and managing the day-to-day campaign operations.
- Driving traffic and increasing conversions through advertising on different channels (Meta, AdWords, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- The strategic direction and delivery of paid media, including bidding, ad copy, landing page testing, audience strategy & extensive creative experimentation.
- Writing clear, persuasive, compelling content.
- Developing paid media creative and brief external creatives.
- Working with various departments internally to prioritise campaigns and help hit aggressive attendee growth targets.
- Building reports for stakeholders, advising on campaign performance and making recommendations
- Contribute to an experimental growth culture by conducting regular testing and optimising paid channels to achieve KPIs
- Continually develop your paid media skills to ensure you are at the forefront of the industry and always aware of the latest tactics and strategies to experiment with.
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate for this position would be a seasoned Digital Marketing professional ideally from a B2B media, events, or marketing industry with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- The ideal candidate should have substantial hands-on experience, ideally 5 years+, in managing both in Paid Search and Digital Advertising campaigns.
- You need a comprehensive understanding and direct experience in various Digital Marketing channels like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Google Advertising.
- The candidate should have a history of successful Digital Marketing campaigns, demonstrating the ability to generate leads and convert.
- Proficiency in analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics, is crucial. The candidate should be adept at analyzing campaign performance and providing meaningful insights through reports.
- A strong focus on data-driven decision-making and an understanding of how to segment and target audiences effectively
- Have a business-oriented, commercial perspective, understanding how Digital Marketing efforts drive attendance and contribute to the overall commercial success of the events
- Organization, time management, and attention to detail are essential skills
- Excellent writing skills, strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial
- Ability to successfully work in a high-paced, cross-functional team environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability to handle sudden changes in priorities or strategies.
