Digital Press Field Service Engineer

The successful Digital Press Field Service Engineerwill follow-up on remote diagnosis, resolving the problem as quickly as possible to enable the customer to remain operational at all times.

This role involves;

• Follow up on remote diagnosis, resolving the problem as quickly as possible to enable the customer to remain operational at all times
• To install, configure, maintain, and repair printing press systems as well as demonstrate a proactive approach and contribute to maintenance related activities.
• To always apply a professional, reactive, and proactive service to our customers.
• Working on highly complex systems you will require quick learning and understanding with the ability to rapidly identify the nature of complex issues and to provide optimal solutions
• Ensure effective communications are maintained with Team Leader and other Veritek staff as required.

To be successful in this role of Digital Press Field Service Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• A professional with an intermediate or higher vocational technical background covering both mechanics and electronics with at least three years of experience in a similar field engineer position and environment.
• Previous field experience with support of high end or complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills down to electronics component level
• Detailed knowledge of electronic/electrical components including 3 phase mains power.
