About this role

Flexible hybrid working -3 days a weektogether in either our Bristol or London Digital Hub (with flexible 2 days remotewherever).

 

Our Digital unit is responsible for leading BT’s digital transformation, delivering brilliant customer experiences and creating the innovative products and services our customers need.

BT Wholesale and Ventures is a division of United Kingdom telecommunications company BT Group that provides voice, broadband, data, hosted communication, managed network and IT services to communications providers (CPs) in Great Britain, including BT's other divisions: BT Consumer, BT Business and Public Sector and EE

You will be instrumental in driving engagement, performance and growth of the Cross Product and New Products sections of business.bt.com

 

You will have the following accountabilities

  • Partner with the relevant product leads from the Commercial, Propositions and
  • Marketing teams, representing the squad, and negotiating and prioritising demand against capacity. Drive highest ROI thinking and stakeholder alignment as part of the briefing process and during quarterly planning. 
  • Partner with the relevant leads in the marketing team to drive best Cost-per-acquisition from digital marketing spend (PPC, paid social etc), including thorough alignment of goals -  key to things will be measuring the value of online lead generation through to confirmed revenue 
  • Partner with the relevant leads in the marketing team to align on CRM and messaging activity for digital customers to drive higher conversion and upsell rates. 
  • Drive increased digital trading through negotiating price and promotion opportunities with the relevant commercial leads 
  • Work in high collaboration with the digital analytics team and assist the product owner to drive growth KPIs by forming a backlog of AB testing opportunities, utilising tools such as decibel and Adobe Analytics to from clear hypotheses 
  • Assist the product owner in forming product requirements documents for future journeys built by the Omni-Sales Tribe. In particular, zone in on AB testing, analytics and headless CMS requirements in order that the journeys can then by optimised by the web site squad 
  • Assist the product owner in forming hypotheses for new capabilities and features that can drive highest trading impact (to form part of the Omni-Sales Tribe backlog). 

 

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: experience and understanding of Agile principles and practices, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams in Agile product specification, development and delivery. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: Exceptional ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment, managing expectations, and fostering productive relationships. 
  • Expertise in product strategy development: Proven capability in defining and executing product strategies that align with business goals, customer needs (in this instance primarily internal customers), and market trends, while driving innovation and competitive advantage. 
  • Experience in product discovery and experimentation: Proficient in employing product discovery techniques, conducting user research, and facilitating experiments to validate assumptions, inform decision-making, and drive continuous product improvement. 
  • E-Commerce Trading and Merchandising experience is an absolute must  - within a telco or utilities environmentwould be an added bonus 
  • Expertise in Conversion Rate Optimisation 
  • Digital Marketing experience and how best to optimize the key marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Display etc.) 
  • Experience of building reports and delivering meaningful insights from adobe Analytics and Google Analytics packages 
  • Experience of building and running AB tests through Adobe Test and Target (or similar)
