Location: Slough SL1 - Hybrid 2 days per week in the office
Contract length: Contract until the end of 2024 (maybe extended)
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.00pm
Rate: £450 - £500 Day Rate
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Digital Project Manager on behalf of a global company in the Manufacturing industry. This role is a Hybrid working position with 2 days per week in the office.
The successful Digital Project Manager will join the Digital Team based at the Slough office. The Digital Project Manager will be a Digital Enthusiast, working with multiple stakeholders across functions to get buy-in. You will have previously worked for a Corporate brand, handling multiple projects at a time. It will be your responsibility to see the projects are completed within time scope and best practice is adhered to at all times. Responsibilities of The Digital Project Manager:
• Responsible for assisting in creation and deployment of UK Digital Business Continuity strategy and functional roadmap - including the creation of new processes and Digital capabilities aligned with internal and external best practices and emerging trends.
• Exhibit resourcefulness in confirming Digital solution architecture by leveraging external partnerships to confirm best in class emerging technologies as well as internal Company Enterprise Architecture expertise.
• Manage internal and external third parties with the intent of developing sustainable relationships/partnerships to capitalise on ideas, innovations, delivery, best practices and cost efficiencies. Develop governance structure and metrics to ensure that mutual value is being derived through the services provided.
• No direct line management, Directing of Digital Technologies and Business Segment associates/contractors required to achieve desired outcomes Digital Change Management Excellence
• Analyse/identify opportunities to establish projects that develop and/or deploy new global capabilities.
• Implement Design Thinking approaches to iterative problem solving - Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test
• Managing critical path and high-risk activities, identifying potential threats and conflicts, and implementing mitigating actions.
• Approve, prepare, monitor, and adjust variable development budgets. Digital Capability Development & Deployment
• Execute the delivery of enhanced application capabilities through strategic partners.
• Partner with functional experts to analyse and develop process & Digital capabilities which are aligned with functional & segment strategies, engaging functional Business Partnership and utilising development, deployment and core services resources as appropriate.
• Execute experimentation and highly iterative approaches (e.g. Agile scrum) that leads to early learning, quicker value realization, and innovation breakthrough.
• Deliver predictable and repeatable solution design artifacts that enable continuous solution delivery.
• Execute/facilitate the build and delivery of business applications and successful support handover to Core Services (Service Introduction).
• Development - drive forward system design, configuration, development, integration, and unit testing.
• UX/UI - execute process for a user-centered design approach by advocating for simple, modern, flexible design conventions. Responsible for development and optimisation of UI and UX.
• Testing - Partner with Business resource to write and automate test scripts and aids in execution of system and integration testing. Plans the detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of a fully tested and supported solution.
• Anticipate, analyse, and translate business needs (Customer Journey's, EPIC's, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and functional/tech specifications.
Skills/ Experience required for the Digital Project Manager:
Experience of 5 Years plus in a Digital Project Manager role

PMO experience is essential
Business Analyst - really have a clear understanding of Business needs and what the required outcome is and then setting up the project from start to completion
