Digital Workplace Engineer - Digital Workplace Solutions
This role sits within the Solutions team within Digital Workplace. Digital Workplace currently consists of 3 teams: End User Computing, Platforms and Solutions. The Digital Workplace Solutions team is responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of services and solutions that improve collaboration, communication, mobility, connectivity, and productivity.
We are on an exciting journey into the world of PowerApps, Power Automate and SharePoint Online and this role will be instrumental in further developing secure and robust solutions that elevate our success in this area as well as delivering solutions that make the best use of our E5 capability.
As a Digital Workplace Engineer within the Solutions team, you will be accountable for:
- Providing specialist 3rd line expertise relating to M365 solutions and services within an ITIL environment.
- Delivering services and solutions using the MS Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams and other Microsoft services.
- Acting as a 'consultant' to the organisation, identifying areas and processes where Power Platform and M365 can be better leveraged to maximise the value of licencing within the organisation.
- Guiding and educating citizen developers and general employees on the effective use of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agent), SharePoint and MS365 services.
- Keeping abreast of new technologies, industry standards and trends and the MS365 roadmap.
- The enhancement of our ITSM tool (FreshWorks FreshService) for process automation and request fulfilment.
- Managing the incident and service request support queue for the Digital Workplace Solutions team, ensuring resolutions within Technology SLAs.
- Supporting our M365-based Live Event streaming services utilising a range of professional audio and video equipment.
- Supporting our business engagement channels (such as our Intranet and SharePoint communications) in line with the M365 update cadence ensuring continuous employee awareness and engagement.
- Evidenced experience with MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, MS SharePoint, MS DataVerse, .Net, HTML, CSS, Javascript, APIs, PowerShell, C#, typescript and react.
- A good understanding of the Power Platform governance components.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
- Great interpersonal and verbal/written communications along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Salary of up to £43,687.72 (£36,529.65 base + £3033.56 London Allowance (if based in London) + a non contractual/non pensionable Skills Framework for the Information Age supplement of up to £4,124.51 dependant on self - assessment you will be awarded 0%,50% or 100%)
