We are working with a world class organisation who design, develop, and manufacture niche vehicles globally seeking an experienced Dimensional Management Engineer for a long-term contract, supporting a range of new vehicle platforms.
As Dimensional Management Engineer you will lead the generation and development of the Dimensional Variation Analysis simulation models in the proscribed format, rigid & compliance modelling & perform 3D tolerance analysis utilising 3DCS.

As Dimensional Management Engineer you will be required to:
- Perform 3D tolerance analysis utilising 3DCS.
- Visualise worse case scenarios to emphasise on dimensional PQ issues and present to engineering team
- Analyse early design surface models for PQ sensitive areas to identify potential build issues
- Support development of PLP, GD&T and process direction toward meeting the dimensional targets and functional objectives
- Provide technical support to cross functional teams & report programme status in reviews
- Support engineering / manufacturing activities.
- Develop & support engineering / quality systems processes
As Dimensional Management Engineer you will have:
- Degree qualified or equivalent will proven experience in a product design or development role
- Experience of BIW tooling and assembly
- Experience with sheet metal stamping/assembly quality, inspection, and processing
- Proficient knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge of Body / Closures Engineering
