Direct Marketing Manager

Agria Pet Insurance has a fantastic opportunity for a Direct Marketing Manager to join our team working working between our office in Aylesbury and home. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis,and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

As our Direct Marketing Manager, you will lead the customer contact strategy for Agria.  The role will include management of a team to deliver the acquisition, retention and ongoing communication strategy to help deliver the business strategy. As well as building and delivering campaigns across Email, SMS & Direct Mail the role will also take an active art in understanding our customers through surveys and focus groups. 

Responsibilities as our Direct Marketing Manager will include:

• Overall leadership of the Direct Marketing Team
• Regular 121s with team members
• Management of 3rd party agencies to deliver customer contact strategy & fulfilment of customer documentation
• Defining the contact strategy to acquire new customers/new business sales by converting free covers, quotes/enquirers, live & lapsed prospects, & customers (including Refer a Friend & Multipet)
• Delivery of new customer onboarding approach to create strong first impression of Agria
• Leading the customer loyalty & retention strategy from a customer contact perspective
• Delivering monthly performance reporting and commentary on sales performance from contact strategy
• Ensuring the delivery of partnerships offers to our customers either at new business or as part of the engagement programme
• Management of service communications, ensuring all ts&cs, regulatory changes and project requirements are made on time.
• Working to meet the departmental objectives and achieving required quality results

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes of our Direct Marketing Manager:

• Excellent organisational skills
• Understanding of Apteco FastStats/Dot Digital/People Stage
• Be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, at all levels within the business and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues
• Able to coordinate multiple external communications messages at any one time
• Ability to prioritise workloads and use own initiative
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
