Role Overview
Through Business Banking Direct our global network offers comprehensive support and services to businesses in the SME market. From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking Direct team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end -to- end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.
We are seeking a customer focused person who thrives on making a difference, to join this team in the role of Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct.
The Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct is a crucial role to both HSBC and the communities we serve. The successful applicant will need to be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, building strong and trusted relationships with clients, while offering appropriate support to ensure customers can sustainably grow their business.
*Please Note: This is a hybrid role with base location listed in Scotland, however applications are also welcomed from colleagues based in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Bristol, Reading, however Scotland is preferred. You will be required to attend the Commercial Centre for at least 3 days a week
In this role, you will:
• Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank’s profile in the wider community.
• Collaborate with your team and support colleagues to ensure business and client requirements are met
• Nurture existing client relationships and identify and develop new business opportunities when appropriate.
• Build a network of business introducers both internally and externally in the business community, with the aim of winning market share and introducing new customers to HSBC
• Adhere to structures and processes for the management of credit, operational, reputational, criminal and regulatory risk
