Working Location: HK International Airport (DHL Central Asia Hub)
Reporting toGeneral Manager, Central Asia Hub and dotted line to Vice President, Human Resources, Hong Kong and Macau, the job holder will provide HR advice and consultancy services to our Central Asia Hub (CAH) team, one of the global hubs in DHL Express, ranging from talent acquisition & retention, development, performance management, compensation and employee relations. As the focal interface between HR and the business, the job holder will also work closely with the HR Centre of Expertise to design programs, policies and practices, ensuring innovation in a competitive and cost effective manner. The job holder supports the CAH management in developing a positive leadership style and skills to strengthen DHL position as an Employer of Choice.
Responsibilities:
•provide advice to and assist CAH management on driving a high performance culture in the team through people
•understand the business and the talent/resources required to support the business, and provide solutions on talent attraction and retention
•identify and follow through the development plan for talents and high potential employees
•ensure employees’ voices are heard through leading small group discussions, partnering with different CAH teams on EOS follow up actions, or other townhall meetings; follow up with functional management teams on employees’ voices and ensure the management team has taken actions timely
•keep management abreast of labour market as well as the people competition at the airport; advise CAH management team in new changes in HR policies, local legislations relating to people
•collaborate and proactively manage to ensure a harmonious working environment and high performing team through handling employee grievances and issues
•lead the safety team to provide a safe working environment in CAH which aligns with business strategies and corporate guidelines / policies
YOUR PROFILE
•Degree in Business or related discipline, HR qualification or professional HR affiliations will be an advantage
•Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience with 3-5 years in a HR specialist role
•Good communications skills and be able to deal with people of all levels
•Proficiency in English and Cantonese is a must
•Possess good business acumen, analytical skills, and problem solving & decision making skills
