Job Description

Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist who can help build their Cyber Security Practise. The role would require someone coming from the Cyber world and have a minimum 10 years expertise

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Cyber Security Consultancy Practice in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and client needs to drive the development of innovative consultancy services.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity consultants, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
  • Ensure that consultants are adequately trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their cybersecurity challenges and providing strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for expanding our consultancy services.

Business Development:

  • Lead business development efforts, including identifying new client prospects, preparing proposals, and participating in client meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop marketing strategies and promotional materials to showcase our consultancy services.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery, ensuring that consultancy engagements are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and performance metrics to measure the success and impact of consultancy engagements.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in client environments and develop proactive strategies to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements to inform consultancy services and recommendations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (10 years) in a senior leadership role within the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on consultancy or professional services.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
