We’re seeking a Central Operations Director who will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our Optics division
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the Optics Board and Leadership Team, influencing decision-making processes and driving positive change across all areas of our retail business,
You’ll collaborate with the Optics Board, our Managing Director, and other stakeholders across the business to create a robust and effective strategy that propels our optics business forward across our retail portfolio.
As the mastermind behind our retail operations, you’ll own the development and execution of our annual plan, as well as overseeing the operations budget and ensuring efficient resource allocation with accountability for leading the retail operations team and Partner Support Desk.
Accountable for the Partner Induction and Development strategy for Optics, you will ensure our partners have the skills and expertise needed to lead their teams and business successfully. This will also include delivering and executing our colleague training programs that support our Annual Plan and embody Specsavers values to improve store colleague knowledge and expertise and to ensure our partners have the skills and expertise to lead their teams successfully, as well as igniting their curiosity to develop efficiencies and new ways of working for stores.
You will possess a deep understanding and background in retail operations, with a combination of finance and commercial experience, as well as proven experience in leading and developing remote teams that are based in multiple locations across the UK.
You will also have a demonstrable history in driving effective change and enhancing existing processes whilst possessing expertise in financial planning, forecasting and budget management,
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a passion for customer service and business improvement will be second nature to you as well as the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across our business.
