This role is responsible for the overall Boots UK Customer Marketing and Loyalty Strategy. You will be reporting to the Boots CMO, and as a key member of the Boots UK Marketing Leadership Team (MLT), you will define the vision for how the Boots UK brand comes to life across all CRM channels. Accountable for the continued evolution of one of the UK’s best known Loyalty Programme (Boots Advantage Card) - a world class customer engagement platform that personalizes and deepens the relationships with over 16.5 million members.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the overall customer contact strategy across all CRM channels; expanding the reach/value of the programme to drive ongoing customer acquisition and active customer participation
- Leveraging data and analytics capabilities to ensure the best action is taken on behalf of the customer.
- Building on the substantial base of the Advantage Card programme to deepen member engagement including defining and managing critical KPIs.
- Develops and executes on the customer strategy that defines how the loyalty program should evolve with goals of improving customer engagement and driving business outcome.
- Leads the day-to-day operations of the Boots UK loyalty program including technology requirements that drive retention, increase share of wallet and brand loyalty.
- Directly leads creative and channel execution across key CRM channels (email, mobile, etc.)
- Working closely with MLT peers across brand marketing, media, data and analytics as well as business and operations leaders, drives substantial revenue and earnings growth and is critical to embedding the Boots brand in the hearts and minds of our customers.
- Leads the data science and analytic teams in identifying and segmenting customers to support the strategy for CRM, loyalty programs and marketing.
- A deep understanding of personalisation at scale is key. The candidate will bring deep rooted experience around CRM databases and loyalty programmes and will have led customer engagement strategy and execution.
- Experience of MarTech and how to build a world class platform
- Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills paired with the ability to engage, influence and inspire multiple stakeholders and teams in the vision
- Experience working in a fast paced and matrixed corporate environment
