Job description

As the Director of Ecommerce Americas (NA, Canada, LATAM) you will drive our ambitious strategic e-commerce objectives in partnership with the Global DTC and Americas teams to unlock the next phase of growth for On in this dynamic and constantly evolving region. You will apply a business and commercial lens to our e-commerce growth engine, to acquire new customers and retain our existing fans through a combination of own and 3rd party digital platforms.
Your Mission
- Build On's premium presence across all relevant digital channels, including On.com, relevant social channels and online marketplaces
- Own the end-to-end customer journey and define a roadmap that optimizes the Americas sub-regional growth levers (from new user acquisition, to on-site activation, retention and referral), working cross-functionally to implement it
- Own the Americas sub-regional P&Ls, ensuring a profitable bottom line is reached alongside durable growth, meeting ambitious new user acquisition and customer retention targets with healthy ROI
- Grow our DtC ecom business across mature markets, growth markets and new markets in Americas, in line with On's overarching brand strategy for the region
- Grow and lead a digital marketing team in Americas, which operates with close ties to global functional streams and activates initiatives within digital channels
- Own the regional product lifecycle and product forecasts, from Go-to-Market launches to end of life, ensuring healthy inventory levels and positioning, with close collaboration with Demand Planning and Visual Merchandising
- Maintain a constant pulse into customer happiness with ongoing alignment between the regional customer service team, warehouse & operations team, and the global DTC team in Zurich to eliminate friction points and elevate the customer experience
Your Story
- You've got at least 10 years' experience performing Ecommerce management roles and have loved every minute of it
- You bring 10 years of expertise working in high-growth DTC environments, for global-scale brands
- A conscious leader with the vision required to manage a team, you inspire the trust and respect of everyone around you - you have at least 8 years of experience building and managing high-performing acquisition teams
- Even in the most ambiguous situation, you make educated decisions, using data to identify the root cause of a problem before creatively and efficiently identifying the solutions with the biggest possible impact; you bring experience creating and working with KPIs to derive growth strategies from data insights
- You thrive when you don't have all the answers, you work tirelessly and autonomously in order to turn ideas into reality; you are a growth hacker at heart
- You thrive when faced with autonomy and minimal guidance, and are confident enough to bring your own thoughts to the table
- You seamlessly move between strategic forward-thinking and tactical implementation
- Your forte is building lasting relationships, a skill that comes in very handy when it comes to managing the expectations of a variety of stakeholders
- You like nothing better than conjuring up the strategies and ideas required to solve even the most complex of challenges
- Responsible, resilient and adaptable, you take pride in your ability to manage a wide range of projects and programs while always delivering the WOW
