Job title: Campaigning and Fundraising Officer
Salary: £34,042 per annum

Contract/hours: Full time, Fixed term 3 months
The Fairtrade Foundation is recruiting a Campaigning and Fundraising Officer to join our Campaigns Team.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for supporter enquiries, including responding to the diverse network of Fairtrade Campaigners (donors, groups, schools and supporters), as well as providing varied support to the Campaigns team throughout the year, particularly with data management, creating compelling email, website and social media communications, analysis of communication performance and supporting cross-team working.
You also be responsible for supporting the administration of public donations to the Fairtrade Foundation.
We are looking for someone with skills and experience in supporter or customer service. This role requires a good communicator – both written and verbal – who can build and manage strong relationships with colleagues, supporters and external partners to make engaging with Fairtrade Foundation campaigns a rewarding and positive experience.
An ability to analyse information and data to assess the performance of pieces of communication (for example, emails and webpages) against objectives will also be highly useful in this role.
Solid administrative expertise is important, including excellent IT skills, a strong process-driven approach, and the ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects and competing priorities. Fundraising experience is desirable but not essential.
Most importantly, all of your skills and experience will be underpinned by a passion to change trade to end exploitation and build a fairer future. To campaign with Fairtrade against the unacceptable global inequality that traps millions in poverty, you’ll need a commitment to and understanding of current global efforts in the fields of justice, in a variety of areas including global trade justice, anti-racist justice and climate justice.
