Job Description
Role
We are currently looking for an Director of Finance Business Partner to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. The Director of Finance Business Partner reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for seamless running of the Finance department and work closely across the entire business with key stakeholders. This is a highly visible role where you will need to achieve the optimum profitability of the business through efficient controls and processes.
Key expectations of this role
- Providing financial leadership for the Hotel in achieving profit, cash flow, and key performance goals while maintaining a strategic perspective to identify profitable opportunities.
- Anticipating challenges and creating competitive advantage, ensuring a controlled, check and balance, financial environment at all times.
- Supporting implementation of appropriate metrics and controls to manage business risks; ensuring strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations, profitability and ROIC.
- Managing the CAPEX plan of the Hotel, through the relevant Division Heads to ensure best use of owner funds is being applied.
- Driving the Business Plan process to ensure timely completion accuracy of data and suitable analysis prior to submission to Corporate Office.
- Executing and reviewing existing financial controls, policies and procedures.
- Working closely with other Executive Team members in a supportive manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel.
Profile
- Experience at senior level within Finance of an upscale hotel with knowledge of all key areas of Finance
- A good understanding of leading and developing people effectively
- A thorough understanding of the hotel operation
- A sound understanding of managing various stakeholders and their expectations
