We are now looking for a Director of Fundraising and Marketing to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As our Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will drive engagement with our organisation to ensure we can create the maximum impact for our work.
Taking an integrated approach to Fundraising and Marketing activities, you will ensure we develop our audiences, build brand reputation and drive income growth.
As the leader of our fundraising function, you will create opportunities to significantly grow our unrestricted income and support funding for our ambitious Strategic Plan and growth trajectory.
You will also take the lead in developing impactful marketing communications and campaigns, converting engagement into positive action and increasing our reach and profile.
Everything about this role will require your passion, from the outstanding fundraising, marketing and communications strategies we need to succeed to the everyday tools you promote to ensure we are effective in our work. We need positive action in order to achieve our aims and you will be the essential element that drives us to create it.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy
- Ensure outstanding stewardship of our supporters
- Grow our portfolio of Corporate Supporters and High Net Worth individuals
- Create and deliver a communications and Marketing strategy
- Apply sales and Marketing tools and theory to our Fundraising and comms work
About You
To be considered as our Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will need:
- Experience of working in a senior role in the charity sector
- Experience of a broad range of Fundraising techniques and growing a range of income streams to meet ambitious income generation targets
- Experience of raising a brand’s profile and campaign leadership
- Experience in utilising CRM systems to ensure effective performance management
- Experience of analysing and presenting financial and performance data
- Experience of acting as an organisational spokesperson, liaising with journalists and media outlets
- Experience in maintaining relationships with stakeholders
