The Role:
Job Purpose: The Director of Marketing (UK&I) will lead marketing operations and performance in the UK and Ireland, driving brand growth and fostering long-term customer relationships. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role involves strategizing, executing, and optimizing marketing plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of approximately 50 professionals covering retail marketing operations, performance marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Develop and execute in-market plans across retail and digital channels in the UK and Ireland to engage customers and cultivate relationships.
- Maximize efficiency and increase retail and online traffic by continually improving contribution per order.
- Adapt global group campaigns for the UK/Ireland market and ensure flawless execution.
- Collaborate with direct teams to implement local marketing initiatives, such as transition plans, app adoption, and seasonal events.
- Own the social media, content, and influencer strategy to establish the brand as a credible voice in health and wellness.
- Optimize customer relationship tools to strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Attend cross-functional Weekly Trading Reviews to provide marketing insights and perspectives.
- Lead performance marketing strategy across owned and paid channels to maximize ROI and acquire new customers.
- Act as the primary support to the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring alignment and effective execution of Marketing strategies.
Location: We have Hubs in Nuneaton and London, and we expect colleagues to be in the office a few days per week (hybrid working). Occasional travel to other locations may be required. The Person:
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience in marketing and business leadership roles, with a track record of developing impactful campaigns.
- Must have led both performance marketing, social, content and influencer teams.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a history of tactical and executional excellence.
- Ability to balance brand storytelling with data-led, ROI-driven, and commercially astute approaches.
- Experience leading teams across performance marketing, retail marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Detail-oriented and fast-paced, with a motivation to develop strong customer plans and respond to business needs.
- Proven ability to manage key stakeholders at the executive level and work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership in fostering a performance-focused culture within teams.
