Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Directorate Support Manager to join us as an integral part of the Community Paediatric and 0-19 Directorate Management Team.
The post holder will take the lead role for governance and performance, as well as be responsible for the daily operational and business management of the administrative function.
Furthermore the post holder will contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement, planning and leading on initiatives to improve the quality of service provision.
The post holder will be based at the GEM Centre
• To support the daily operational and business management of specific specialities across sites.
• To be the directorate lead for governance actions and co-ordination of Directorate Governance and Performance.
• To ensure that all administrative and clerical duties are completed in a timely fashion
• To support the development and implementation of plans for service improvement.
• To ensure the required capacity for services and that key performance targets are met.
• To ensure that all medical staff rotas are compiled for the needs of the service. Ensure cover is provided in times of absence.
• To deputise for the Directorate Manager as appropriate.
