Disability Assessor Nurse for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) – homebased hybrid working
Pay: £42,000/pa + benefits (rising to £37,333/pa after 12 months)

Nurse Disability Assessor role requirements:
- Valid NMC pin with no restrictions present
- A minimum of 12 months' experience as a nurse in relevant clinical settings
- No previous health and Disability Assessor experience required as full, paid training is provided
- IT/typing skills proficiency are essential
Nurse Disability Assessor role:
- Conduct impartial, holistic health and disability assessments only on a wide range of conditions including mental health, physical, sensory and cognitive conditions.
- 3-4 assessments per day either as face-to-face/telephone/video assessments
- Compile reports, using your assessment findings and further medical evidence presented. These are then dispatched for review and decision as to eligibility by the DWP
- Starting salary of £42,000/pa, rising incrementally based on the stage of training; fully qualified salary - £44,800/pa (based on 40hrs/week, full time hours).
- Standard working hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday. NO weekends, nights.
- Fully paid training is provided, completed as a mixture of virtual/remote homebased teaching and assessment centre-based training to ensure the right level of support and learning is offered.
