Our client, based in Yorkshire and the wider-North, is currently recruiting for a Disrepair Surveyor on a permanent contract.
The position is due to immediately on notice. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience of Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and hold a full UK driving license. They will also be chartered in CIOB and CIEH.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Resolving breaches concerning legal disrepair matters under Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
Reviewing expert reports and disrepair letters of claim
Conducting around two inspection surveys a day and producing technical surveys reports to counter any deficiencies
Producing pre-work surveys and creating specifications for works
Identifying health & safety hazards and taking action to mitigate further damage to social housing stock
Experience required:
Section 11 of Landlord and Tenant Act 1985
Chartered in CIOB or CIEH
Full UK driving license
