Our Chief Data Office, Global Markets and Corporate Systems technology function (DMC), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We're driving transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence and robotics process automation. We are looking for an experienced Business Manager professional to maintain solid book of work governance, financial management and execution discipline across our Technology Transformation programs. The ideal candidate will multi-year experience as a senior Business Manager, hands-on experience with complex IT transformation books of work, with multiply dependencies, ability to work with senior stakeholders, pro-active mindset and strong analytical skills.
What you will be responsible for:
Key responsibilities include:
- Hands on senior Business Manager supporting Technology team leads with full engagement across all key book of work initiatives ensuring solid financial and delivery controls
- Candidate will pro-actively partner with Tech leads across DMC, GTS and Business Product Managers to ensure action plans are in place and execution is closely monitored in a transparent and collaborative manner
- Emphasis on ensuring that any Risk & Issues that will prevent successful delivery are promptly reported to all stakeholders and path to green actions are agreed
- Candidates will be expected to professionally challenge / partner with teams in order to ensure optimal delivery of business outcomes on transformational programs - avoiding duplication across delivery teams
- Perform detailed review of risk & issues logs ensuring stakeholders and GMCD CIO is updated on key updates
- Co-ordinate senior and executive management stakeholder governance forums, QBRs, SteerCos and Monthly Product reviews
- Assist with driving a culture of program execution excellence, transparency, and accountability
- Working closely with clients/consultants to implement strategies and optimally restructure their portfolios.
- Providing relevant market insight and lead further improvement and innovation of the investment process.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategy team, to deliver investment solutions and thought leadership for clients.

- Excellent written and spoken communication & collaboration skills
- Self-learning and training to ensure skills and knowledge are in line with responsibilities
- Strong MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Clarity
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar business management industry experience
- Candidate has a minimum of 8+ years of experience across business management., programme office, COO & CAO functions, ideally in a technology department
