Elvet Recruitment is seeking a Document Controller for a leading national construction firm.
This role is part of an £85 million construction project spanning two years. The position offers flexible hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the design and technical teams by overseeing document and drawing management, both digitally and via traditional means.
- Dispensing drawing/design information to various internal parties, filing of documentation. Working on a CDE system (Asite), ensuring that documents can be correctly identified.
Experience
- While prior experience in quality or construction support is advantageous, it's not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CDE systems (e.g., 4Projects, Asite, Viewpoint) is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
- Competence in compiling and organising documentation.
- Interest in and understanding of quality assurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and capable of independent work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
