We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Document Controller for a national construction building contractor with a large new-build project in North Yorkshire.
The Role
This is a large construction project and the role will be based on site as part of the multi-disciplinary team for approximately 2 years. There is hybrid working with the position.
The duties are to support the design and technical team with maintaining control of documents and drawings coming in to the company, both electronically and via traditional paper methods. Dispensing drawing/design information to various internal parties, filing of documentation. Working on a CDE system (Asite), ensuring that documents can be correctly identified.
Experience
Quality or construction support experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Experience of using a CDE (documentation control system) such as 4Projects, Asite, Viewpoint. Training can be given on the system.
Experience in compiling and maintaining documentation files
Have an interest in quality assurance
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and be able to work on their own initiative
Be proficient in Microsoft Applications
