Document Controller

My client are a leading National MEP contractor with an emphasis on working on major Commercial, Healthcare and Education projects ranging from 10 to 50 million MEP. Due to successful growth plans being achieved they are looking to hire a Document Controller to join there fast paced and highly efficient admin team based in there office in Central London.

The division can be fast paced and require a proactive positive approach in peak periods however they have a really good team culture where they are able to successfully pull together to deliver on tight deadlines.

Sectors: Commercial, Hotel, Healthcare, Student Accommodation, Pharmaceutical and Research, Education, Residential Housing and Sports and Leisure

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Technical submittals and Commissioning paperwork uploading on the main contractor portal.
• Progress reports updated for main contractor answering emails.
• Dealing with timesheets
• Checking dispatch documents are accurate.
• Update the revisions on drawings and as built drawings.
• Printing and scanning documents for supervisors and site manager.
• Helping logistic supervisor with inductions
• Email communication, delivery and collection of bookings for relevant site and personnel material using Data scope software.
• Request and printing of drawings for engineers and head office - updating the A0 and A3 folders.
• Downloading/uploading, production of workflow reports/schedules
• Managing booking delivery slots
• Scanning and management of weekly notes to head office.
• Assistance with QA documents.

Ideal Candiate:

Ideally they are looking for someone with a variety of system software experience for example, Aconex, Asite, ViewPoint, Conject etc….
