Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 08.00am - 16.30pm (Friday 13.00pm finish)
Rate: £12.50 per hour
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Document Controller/ Administrator on behalf of a global company in the Tech industry. This role is Monday to Friday with a nice early finish on Friday at 13.00pm. The contract is a 6 month contract which has the potential to keep rolling.
The successful Document Controller will join the Team based at the Newcastle office. This will mainly be an office based role, but will have some flexibility down the line once you are embedded into the position. The ideal candidate will have Administration experience, with some Document control, and Information management experience. My client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities of the Document Controller/ Administrator :
To provide Project Support (including clerical and administrative) to project teams
To provide necessary support in co-ordinating snagging activities to close out projects/As Built Stage
Support the Project Engineers (where required) ordering control & protection materials, expediting suppliers, tracking costs and maintaining procurement lists.
Establishing and maintaining project support systems, e.g.filing for paper and electronic documents, including databases and spreadsheets.
Logistical support including chasing suppliers and arranging; deliveries, travel, accommodation and hire car bookings.
Arranging meetings, typing reports, and co-ordinating the preparation/ creation of another project documentation.
General office support to the team and liaison with other relevant departments (including; post/ courier arrangements and stationery & PPE control/ ordering)
General support to other project areas during times of; heavy workload, tight timescales, holidays and sick leave absences.
Liaison with Project Engineers and manufacturing facilities to ensure timely delivery of control and protection solution deliverables.
Liaison with the PM Site Managers to assist with monthly statistics where required
Coordinate and review meetings for the Team and Direct support to various project meetings or reporting (arrangements, data collection, minutes and expediting actions).
Key Skills / Experience Required for the Document Controller/ Administrator :
Previous Administration experience
Document control of some sort/ management information control
Proficient in I.T especially Excel
Organised
Excellent communication skills
Can work of their own initiative, and put their hand to different tasks to help the wider team
Can hit the ground running with little to no supervision
