Document Controller

Job Title:Document Controller.
Job Type: Permanent.
Salary: 38K (D.O.E)
Location: Stoke on Trent
Overview:
Join an industry leader in detection technology as a crucial contributor to their engineering and manufacturing process. As part of our team, you will be involved in projects at all stages of the product life cycle, from initial concept generation, new product introduction and continuous improvement in manufacture. As a senior member of the team, you will be required to check and run daily operations as and when required.
Responsibilities:

• Must have good knowledge of PLM
• Monitor and measure the CM process, ensuring efficiency.
• Advance CM function by identifying different areas, sustaining engineer process and product development.
• Manage process development between configuration management and interfacing departments.
• Review ECO's (Engineering Change Orders), ensuring that all changes are completed accurately and coincide with companies internal standards.
• Oversee timely implementation of all work flows.
• Manage release process to manufacturing of release products.
• Write and update necessary procedures to document configuration requirements.
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of defined programs as required by Supervisor.
• Other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications and experience

• Must have previous experience within an engineering and manufacturing carrying out document control.
• Proficient user of ERP and MRP software.
• Knowledge of and experience with product structures, CCB processes, release of documentation, drafting environment, production planning, etc.
