Our client, an established Oil and Gas company, are looking for a Document Controller to join their team on a Contract basis for an initial 6 months with expected extensions.
Your new role
Your new role will be within the QHSE department, working alongside other document controllers and IMS Assistants, working on current live projects. You will be required to create, organise and maintain essential documents to ensure the smooth running of operations projects. This role is an initial 6-month contract with extension.
In this role you will be converting documents into new templates and formats, distribute documents to various project teams and stakeholders within the business, review documents and make adjustments for accuracy, track documents for confidentiality and obsoleting documentation. This role is very detail orientated and a strong attention to detail is required for the accurate reformating of documentation.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Previous experience within a Document Controller position is desirable, but experience within project administration or similar is required. Proficiency in Microsoft packages and Document Control databases is essential to this role. Our client is also ideally looking for Oil and Gas experience to have a good understanding of technical reports and documentation. An ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, experience of handling a large workload and attention to detail are also essential to this role.
