Job Title: Document Management Officer

Salary: £23,893 to £25,119

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: County Hall, Northallerton


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Document Management Officer within the Document Management Service at County Hall.


The post is based within the Document Management Centre, where we fulfil the Council requirements for Printing/Scanning/Post and copying. This post that has arisen due to increased volumes of work. The position we need to fill will be primarily be in the print finishing department.


We require a motivated person with good communication and customer care skills suitable for dealing with a full range of professionals, both from North Yorkshire Council and other organisations.


You will undertake the operation of a wide selection of print finishing equipment from Duplo booklet makers to Stahl folding machines. Previous experience of a print room environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be offered to the right candidate.


You must be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised, have the ability to work with limited supervision and be flexible in your approach.


The operational hours are Monday-Friday with the possibility of occasional extra hours. Weekend working attracts an additional allowance. You will benefit from a supportive management structure, on-going personal development and performance management. Training will be given to the appointed candidates.
