Document Management Specialist (Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 3 weeks

Location: London/Hybrid – 40% of the week in the office

As a Document Management Specialist your main responsibilities will be:
- Database Management:
- Organize and manage the Zotero database for storing and retrieving documents.
- Ensure all documents are accurately tagged with relevant metadata for easy searchability and reference.
- Document Tagging and Categorization:
- Develop and implement a robust tagging system that encompasses various document types, topics, and relevance.
- Regularly review and update tags and categories to reflect changes in document content and focus areas.
- Metadata Management:
- Input and manage detailed metadata for each document, including authorship, publication date, title, and source links.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of metadata for efficient document retrieval and analysis.
- Document Collection and Archiving:
- Continuously update the database with new documents, revisions, and updates.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to team members on how to use Zotero effectively for their research needs.
- Develop user guides or documentation for reference.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their document access and retrieval needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate information sharing and research efficiency.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Bachelor’s degree in library science, Information Management, or a related field. – Experience over qualification.
- Proven experience in Document Management or library services, with a strong preference for experience with Zotero.
- Experience in a regulatory, legal, or technical environment, dealing with complex documents.
