This is an ideal opportunity to begin a career in the NHS at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. You will have a chance to work for one of the Trust's largest services, Domestic Services, which employs approximately 1300 staff and is part of the Trust's Facilities directorate.
The vacancy is for cover relief for our existing Community Domestic team who work in our many Community sites across the city. CAR DRIVER / OWNER IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.
The vacancy will be for 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible. More information on actual hours available on request.
The post will require to undertake a range of domestic duties, for example maintaining a high standard of cleanliness using modern cleaning methods and machinery. There is a requirement to attend cleaning requirements of bodily fluids and barrier cleaning when required and training new staff members.
New starters to Domestic Patient Service Assistant roles will undergo training on work methods and protocols etc. before starting on their actual areas and also be required to attend any relevant training for updates for existing or new methods or machinery etc.
