Wolfeton Manor is a residential care home that offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for the residents making it a home from home. We want to provide a great person centred service to our residents to enable them to live positive and independent lives.
We are currently recruiting for a domestic assistant to provide a great friendly efficient cleaning service within our care home. This is a part time opportunity which will include working one shift on alternative weekends (and some Bank holidays depending on shifts taken up) .
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all areas within the home are clean and tidy
- Be able to follow clear instructions working within a team or individually
- Communal areas, toilets and bathrooms are maintained to a high standard and stock replenished.
- Maintain cleaning of residents rooms, as required
- Deep clean throughout carpets, paintwork and windows
- Follow policies and procedures
- Maintain cleaning of equipment and ensure stock is kept tidy and stored properly
- Preparing rooms for new residents
The successful applicant should have;
- a sensitive and supportive approach to vulnerable people maintaining their dignity & respect at all times.
- some experience of cleaning
- a willingness to learn all aspects of health & safety requirements, COSHH guidelines and Manual Handling training.
