Domestic Maintenance Electrician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Maintenance Electrician to join our clients team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical maintenance services primarily on housing association contracts. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to the upkeep of residential properties, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Package:

• Competitive salary between £36,000 - £39,000 (depending on experience).
• Core hours of 40 per week, Monday - Friday.
• On call rota (TBC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in domestic properties.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Liaising with clients and colleagues to coordinate work schedules.
• Participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
• Completing all necessary paperwork correctly.
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining professional relationships.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification with the trade.
• Proven experience as a Domestic Maintenance Electrician, preferably within the housing association sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
