Form of workWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Domiciliary Care Assistant . As a Domiciliary Care assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care .This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others inside our patients home.
This is a job role is for 30 to 40 hours per week. Ongoing work. We are looking for 2x Domiciliary Care assistant to visit an elderly patient in her home providing the below duties. 7 days a week.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with household tasks, such as light housekeeping and laundry
- Implement behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Dom care, nursing home care, or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client transportation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals in need of care
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
