Job description

Donor Relationship Fundraiser - Two-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
About the role and about you
This is an exciting opportunity to join the fundraising team working with theDirector of Development and Community and the Head of Fundraising to plan, develop and deliver the Trust’s legacy and ‘in memory’ fundraising strategies within the fundraising team. The Trust requires a sustainable legacy pipeline to ensure that legacy income increases and continues to be a significant contributor to realising our conservation goals.
You will help to plan, develop and deliver a major donor programme within the team. This is a new role within the team and an opportunity to grow this area of income for the Trust.
You will build, manage and nurture relationships with supporters and raise funds from larger donors and potential legators to ensure their financial support for nature conservation is acknowledged and their wishes are fulfilled.
Previous experience in a similar fundraising role would be desirable along with experience of delivering a high quality of customer service and deepening Donor Relationships. Good numeracy skills, ability to write persuasively and excellent communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills would be essential.
