Door Engineer

A UK business specialising in automatic and industrial entrance systems is looking to expand its team of Door Engineers based in the Kent and Essex areas. 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays is on offer. 6% pension based on salary paid by company, a Ford transit van, company health care plan. This is an expanding company with lots of overtime available paid at x1.5 rate.

With this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for:

• The service, maintenance, repair or installation of Industrial sectional, dock levellers, roller shutters and fast action doors.
• Desirable automatic door service and maintenance.
• Following EN 16005 / BS 7036 engineer guidelines.
• Electrical wiring.
• Advising customers on possible solutions to their products.
• Fault Finding.

To be considered for this engineering role you must have:

• Practical experience servicing and maintaining industrial or automatic doors (both desirable but no essential)
• Desirable EN16005 qualification.
• Electrical and mechanical experience.
• A driving licence.
• A CSCS Card.
