We are currently recruiting for a Part time Doorman at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
The 4 AA Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is situated in the scenic location of St. Brelade’s Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in Jersey. With 106 bedrooms and The Grill restaurant offering panoramic ocean views, L'Horizon is the ideal setting for a romantic getaway or even an idyllic coastal wedding.

About the Role
- The role of an Doorman is to work as part of the front office team, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining Hand Picked Hotels luxury standards, consistently delivering exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
- You will greet guests on arrival, organise luggage, offer a valet service ensuring the utmost security at all times.
- Maintaining a safe, healthy and secure workplace environment, following all work protocol.
- Assisting with any guests requests whenever required
- Building effective relationships to create a positive working environment will be a key requirement to ensure the success of the department and team.
- Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Passionate Hand Picked Team.
About you:
- Previous experience working in a guest facing role, ideally with an 4/5-star luxury hotel.
- A good knowledge of the island, excellent communication skills.
- Full clean UK driving licence would be preferred but not essential.
- Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service, ensuring our guests feel at home will be your passion and motivation.
- You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
- Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.
- You must hold Entitled status for Jersey, with a minimum of 5 years residency to be considered for this role.

- This is a Part-Time role working 3 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 24 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
