Salary: Grade C3-5 £22,504 - £23,183
Hours: 36 hours per week term time only
We are looking for a technician to support the Drama and Music Departments who is keen to work on their own initiative. You should also be eager and willing to learn across the music and drama domains so that you can support the teachers to carry on teaching, whilst looking after the technical aspects which the subjects demand.
General Duties for Both Departments
GENERAL
- Preparing resources for lessons at the direction of staff
- Collecting and checking paperwork and equipment for trips, e.g. medical supplies, mobile phone
- Sourcing and ordering Drama and Music kit and supplies
- General admin: entering practical marks into spreadsheets; checking permission slips for Drama and Music events
TRIPS & EVENTS
- Supporting evening trips (First Aider trained would desirable)
- Supporting evening and weekend rehearsals and performances
- Attending Department meetings as arranged on specific dates
DESIGN
- Creating promotional material for performances, e.g. posters and programmes
- Contributing to the creation of material for the school newsletter
- Creating and maintaining display boards in both departments

Our ideal candidate will:
- A good standard of education (ideally Maths/English GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent);
