Salary on appointment will be £28,929 per annum, with an annual increment up to £35,308 per annum. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing to help to manage the day-to-day functioning of the Drama Studio. Key duties of the role include: Understanding and assigning drama spaces to meet the demands of teaching. Organizing “Welcome” and “Welcome back” activities. Budget management, including approval of budgets and helping to plan budgets against the needs of teaching and studio maintenance. Making sure performance and premises licences are in place. Discussing the performance needs of particular modules with academics, students and the Drama Technicians and advising about resource requirements and liaising with external companies who wish to use the Drama Studio. You will have experience of Arts or Theatre, either professionally or in a personal capacity through study or voluntary work. Additionally, we are seeking an individual with negotiation skills, who is organised, self-managing and has Health and Safety experience. This full-time post is available from 19 February 2024 on fixed term basis until 31 July 2024.
