Are you a passionate and experienced Drama and Dance Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Rotherham? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and inspire students to explore their creative potential through drama and dance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and deliver high-quality, dynamic lessons in drama and dance, catering to students of varying skill levels and abilities.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the drama and dance curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and provides a well-rounded education for our students.
Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and self-expression.
Organise Performances and Productions: Coordinate and direct school performances, productions, and other events to showcase students' talents and achievements.
Assessment and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students, assess their progress, and implement strategies for improvement.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate drama and dance across the broader curriculum and contribute to the overall development of the school's arts program.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching drama and dance at various levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for inspiring and motivating students.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities related to drama and dance.
