Location: Doncaster
Pay scale: Pay will range from £130.00-200.00 per day dependant on experience.
Working hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Contract type: temporary - supply (on-going)
About the role:
Our Secondary School client is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Music & Drama teacher to join them on a part time supply basis to cover a period of sickness absence. The role is to cover KS3 & KS4 Music and Drama. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their career as well as more experienced teachers. The appointed person will be required to teach across KS3, KS4, and all ability ranges.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a PGCE certificate.
- DBS on the update service (although if no current DBS is available this can be applied for via REED).
- Previous experience of teaching music in a secondary mainstream environment although the post is suitable for newly qualified teachers with QTS.
- be able to teach Key Stages 3 & 4 Music (Drama would be a bonus but Music is the predominant subject).
- be an enthusiastic practitioner of Music and demonstrate a passion for music.
- encourage all pupils to have the highest possible aspirations and develop positive attitudes to learning.
- enable all pupils to reach the highest standards of which they are capable.
- foster students’ interest in music and develop pupil’s composition, listening and group work skills.
- have a genuine belief that every child matters and a commitment to safeguarding children.
