Job description

KPI Education are urgently recruiting for a Drama Teacher to cover a maternity leave from May 2024. .

  • Hours, Monday to Friday 08.30-15.30
  • Duration – on-going
  • Location – Nantwich, Cheshire
  • Weekly pay - £130-£180 per day 

You will be joining a good school "with outstanding"  based in Cheshire

We are looking for an exceptional specialist of Drama who is able to confidently plan and deliver lessons to both Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 pupils and Key Stage 5 pupils. 

You will have a desire to contribute to the schools on-going success. This is a high performing faculty with a great team ethos. The successful candidate must possess excellent subject knowledge, be hard-working and committed to providing all students with the best opportunities to learn. We would welcome applications from both early career and experienced teachers. The school provides a comprehensive support and induction programme for new staff within an open, consultative culture and excellent CPD opportunities. 

You will:

Be a qualified teacher and have teaching experience within the UK:

  • Be able to deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum being creative and engaging for pupils
  • Drama specialist with excellent subject knowledge
  • Committed to and experienced in raising pupil achievement 
  • Innovative, forward thinking and determined to make a difference
  • Posses excellent classroom management skills
  • Create motivating and inspiring lessons for all to succeed
  • Have empathy and patience
