Draughtsman / Design Engineer - Up to £45,000

Due to continued growth, our client are looking for a Draughtsman to join their busy manufacturing site in Skelmersdale.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that designs meet project requirements
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes or modifications
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to drafting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 3 years ideal
