What does the role involve?

You'll be part of our Driver Line Team who are the first point of contact for our customers who notice a defect with their vehicle. Whether that's a company car driver who's headlight is out or a commercial van driver who's dashboard warning lights have come on - you're the person they call. You'll handle each call with professionalism, ensuring that the driver has their vehicle booked in for repair/investigation or, if needed, arranging for breakdown assistance.

This team provide cover between the hours of 7am and 7pm working a standard 7.5 hour shift within these times. There may in future be the requirement to work a Saturday between 8am-12pm however this is currently not necessary.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Handling a high volume of inbound calls - averaging 50 per day
  • Making contact with our garage network to book vehicles in for repair
  • Monitoring our email mailbox and carrying out admin duties as required
  • Arranging hire vehicles were appropriate for our customers

What are we looking for?

You'll have previous customer service experience as well as enjoy being on the phone and confident with both inbound and outbound calls. Your excellent communication skills and customer first mindset will see you go above and beyond to keep our customers on the road.

Also, we're looking for the following:

  • Computer literacy - comfortable navigating new systems
  • A strong team player
  • The ability to think on your feet
  • Great organisation skills
