We have exciting opportunities for a Driver’s Mate to join a busy team in a well-established client based in Cardiff. Our client is a busy courier service and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team. The role will involve delivering home furniture items to different customers across South Wales.
This role is Part-Time and the hours will be different each week due to requirements.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £11.98 per hour
Duties:
- Loading/Unloading vans with household furniture
- Completing local deliveries to customers
- Manual handling/ lifting.
- Using navigation systems to determine best routes
- Reporting any issues with vehicles with managers
- Customer Service
- Working in the warehouse when required
- Be flexible with finish times, as this will vary each day
- Provide excellent customer service
- Have good attention to detail
- Work well within a team
Shifts:
Amount of shifts will vary each week depending on requirements. You will need to flexible with the working hours.
Shifts are available between Monday-Saturday 06:45am – Finish (which will vary each day)
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
