SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a well-established company based in Leicester. Meynell Plant Hire, part of the Jelson Holdings Group, are a Leicestershire based business that have been established for 60+ years.
The main purpose of the role will be to collect and deliver aggregates and materials to and from quarries, building sites and landfill.
Key accountabilities are:
- Operate within the Highway Code
- Follow direction from the Transport Office
- Ensure vehicle is loaded with correct material
- Ensure load is secure and not overloaded
- Ensure vehicle is roadworthy prior to commencement of daily work
- Ensure tachograph rules are followed
- Operating within EU drivers hours rules
- Operating within the Working Time Directive Rules
- Delivering goods to customer sites
- Compliance with company and health & safety policies, risk assessments & procedures at all times
- Carry out additional duties within your skill and competence.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- C (Class 2) HGV Licence
- HGV CPC Qualification
- Training for a MPQC Driver Skills Card will be given to the right candidate if not already completed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.50 per hour
