Hays are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology Teacher Job for a large comprehensive school in the centre of Cardiff. The school set high standards and strive for an inclusive and welcoming environment for both staff and pupils. The leadership team communicate well with all levels of staff to positively impact pupil progress.
Your new role
This job is for the Design & Technology department to be a full-time teacher dealing with a range of lessons including practical sessions. You will be responsible for teaching Design and Technology resistant materials to KS3 and KS4. Previous experience teaching Design and Technology is essential along with strong practical experience. You will have planning and prep responsibilities as well as marking and taking part in parents evenings.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council to be eligible for the teaching positions available. And hold a valid QTS You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record in helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You will share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check or be willing to get one.
